The Current Music Competition October 2018 was the fifth edition of the Current Music Competition. It took place in Sweden after Normandie have won the previous edition with the song "White Flag". The winner of this edition were the United States with Ava Max's song "Sweet But Psycho".

- The artists must have a strong connection to the country they're representing.
- Eurovision songs are not allowed.
