The Current Music Competition March 2022 is the thirty-ninth edition of the Current Music Competition. It takes place in the Baku Crystal Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan, after AYGUN's victory in the previous edition.

- The entries must be released in January 2022 or February 2022.
- The artists must have a strong connection to the country they're representing.
- Eurovision songs are not allowed.
- The maximum number of participants is 30.
- New rule: a pre-qualification round was introduced. The top 6 users of the previous edition and the first 19 confirmed other countries will be directly qualified for the Grand Final, the rest will have to compete for the five remaining spots.
