Kiribati is a member of the World Broadcasting Union thus it's eligible to participate in the Current Music Competition. It has debuted in October 2022 and has appeared four times. Its best result is a 14th place in semi-final in October 2023 and its worst score a second-to-last place both in October 2022 and November 2023.
Despite its poor debut result, Kiribati returned one year after its first appearance but is still yet waiting for a qualification, proud to embody the Oceanian islands.
