Céline Marie Claudette Dion (* March 30, 1968 in Charlemagne) is a Canadian singer. She represented her country in the Current Music Competition once in June 2018. She won the first Current Music Competition with a total of 106 points.
Biography[]
Born on March 30, 1968, in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada, singer Celine Dion had recorded nine French albums and won numerous awards by the time she was 18. She recorded her first English language album, Unison, in 1990. Dion's real breakthrough into pop music stardom came in 1992, when she recorded the theme to Disney's hit animated feature Beauty and the Beast. She went on to record several hits, including four No. 1's: "The Power of Love," "Because You Loved Me,"and "I'm Your Angel." In 1988, Dion won the Eurovision Song Contest representing Switzerland. She made very success in 1997 due to her song "My Heart Will Go On", from the drama movie Titanic.
In June 2018 Céline represented her country with the song "Ashes" in the Current Music Competition.
