Amanda Ava Koci (* February 16, 1993), also known as Ava Max, is an American singer. She represented her country in the Current Music Competition twice in October 2018 and April 2019. She won the fifth edition with the song "Sweet But Psycho".
Biography
Amanda Ava Koci was born on February 16, 1993, in Wisconsin to Albanian immigrants from Sarandë and Tirana. She started her career in the United States. Max was featured on Le Youth's single "Clap Your Hands" in 2017. She released her debut single, "My Way", through Atlantic Records on April 20, 2018. Her second single, "Slippin" featuring Gashi, was released on May 11, 2018. Max's third single "Sweet but Psycho" was released on August 17, 2018. The song, produced by Cirkut, became Max's breakthrough hit, reaching number one in several countries including Sweden, Finland and Norway.
